What to Do at Lakeside

Environmental Education Program

Outdoor education at Lakeside is provided by Lakeside’s Director Meg Anderson. Meg has a degree in Outdoor Recreation, has taught Outdoor Living Skills at Southern Illinois University, and has her own small zoo at home (cats, dogs, ferrets, gerbils, and lizards). Meg has a love for the God’s creation and would love to show you all the wonders of creation.

Teambuilding at Lakeside is a series of mental and physical challenges that are designed to bring a group closer together. Each element is facilitated by our trained staff and is designed to develop certain characteristics of the community. These characteristics include communication, problem-solving, and trust.
