What to Do at Lakeside

Outdoor Education Program

Outdoor education at Lakeside is provided by Lakeside’s Executive Director Andie T. Strong and our program director. As a former history teacher, Andie understands the impact outdoor activities can have on any classroom. These educators are skilled at bringing history and nature to live for your students, and will accompany geological points of interest and various nature studies.

Initiative Center

Our Initiative Center is a series of mental and physical challenges that are designed to bring a group closer together. Each element is facilitated by our trained staff and is designed to develop certain characteristics of the community. These characteristics include communication, problem-solving, and trust.
